Dear Friends :

Welcome to the Instituto Cultural Mexicano Norteamericano de Jalisco, A.C.´s website.

The Instituto Cultural is a not for profit organization.  Our mission is to strengthen cultural ties between Mexico and the United States of America through cultural activities and to teach English and Spanish.  We work hand on hand with the American Consulate in this city, where we keep leadership and are committed towards academic excellence for our students by doing our best to continually improve all our services.

This year we are celebrating our 58 th anniversary and throughout these fifty-eight years of continuous service for the community of Jalisco, we are very proud that over one million and five hundred students, children adolescents and adults have attended studies in our classrooms and these students have already been incorporated in the economic, academic and political activities of our country.

Our main activity is teaching English to children, adolescents and adults in basic and advanced levels, English Teacher Training, Business English and the teaching of preparation courses for the TOEFL and TOEIC exams.  Furthermore we teach basic and advanced Spanish to foreigners.

We present a variety of cultural activities in our auditorium like: Theatre, Dance, Music, Painting, Photography and Sculpture exhibitions, Conferences etc, all available to the general public free of cost.
